The company hasn’t really put a stop to the Oppo A6 series. The family continues to grow, and it’s getting harder to keep track of the collection. They’ve launched another handset under the title Oppo A6s Pro, which seems to be a slightly downgraded version of the original Oppo A6 Pro. Here’s everything you need to know.

Oppo A6s Pro was put on pre-order in Bangladesh around Feb 24th. The window closed yesterday, and now the device is actually deployed with specs and price released to the public. So we’ll count today as the phone’s official launch. It’s a 4G handset, by the way.

The new Oppo Budget mobile is built around a 6.57” OLED that has thin and uniform bezels on all sides. It is also a 120Hz panel. There seems to be a standard resolution, and the local peak brightness reaches 1400 nits. Oppo A6s Pro has a flat profile. The new Lumina Frost finish is also quite alluring. This design will definitely attract buyers.

The chipset running everything on the A6s Pro is actually the basic Helio G100 Max platform. The same chip was found on the standard A6 Pro as well. This newcomer also uses a built-in cooling chamber. So the chip won’t throttle under the load. But don’t expect high-end performance out of it.

Oppo has put a 7,000 mAh battery inside the A6s Pro. And the cell gets backup from an 80W SuperVOOC charger. This huge battery impressively fits into an 8mm frame, and the whole package weighs around 190g. Durability seems to be Oppo A6s Pro’s forte.

They officially got the A6s Pro certified for an IP69K rating. That makes this newcomer waterproof from all sides, at high temperatures and high pressures. Of course, you get full dust ingress safety as well. They had to skip the Audio jack for that rating, though.

The back has a single functional unit with a 50MP outsole, next to a 2MP assist module. The selfie camera matches that resolution with its own 50MP sensor. There’s 8GB starter RAM here with 256GB storage, and they’ve priced the Oppo A6s Pro at BDT 39,990 (~PKR 91,000).
