OPPO’s much-anticipated sub-flagship device, AKA OPPO A1 Pro 5G, will soon break the cover. The newcomer will feature flagship equivalent specs for a mid-range price. In addition, the phone carries some record-breaking traits to get ahead of the competition.

After unveiling Oppo A58 5G in China, the manufacturer is preparing for A1 Pro’s launch in the home market. In an official Weibo post, Oppo teased the upcoming device by showcasing the design renders and confirming the launch date.

The phone will land in China on November 16th at 6 pm local time. The micro-post also confirms some of the suspected features of the A1 Pro. Towards the front, its curved screen flexes razor-slim bezels and a surprisingly minimal 2.3mm chin that aligns with previously reported rumors.

A 108MP sensor lives inside an individual silo in its pill-shaped camera plate. The secondary silo of the new OPPO Pro mobile hides an auxiliary sensor and flash. According to rumors, the second sensor probably scales to 2MP resolution. On A1’s header, users will likely find a 16MP selfie shooter.

Oppo A1 Pro had its exhaustive feature sheet leaked a few days ago. Tipster Evan Blass discovered a 6.7-inch 120Hz screen on this phone, followed by a 5000mAh cell and 67W charging support. The screen stats include FHD+ resolution, 10-bit colors, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Powered by Snapdragon 695, the new addition Oppo A1 Pro will have up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A microSD card slot will accommodate the expandable storage. Its price and availability are still under wraps. To cover these things, we’ll add an in-depth review once the new sibling of OPPO A76 is out.
