New Vivo V23e Leak Uncovers its Detailed Specifications, Lightweight Footprint and Helio G96

A landing page for the upcoming Vivo V23e recently went up on the Vivo Vietnam website. It teases a few features for the phone, which is slated for launch sometime later this month. But you will not have to wait that long for the details because an industry source just leaked Vivo V23’s specification sheet.

Courtesy of the phone leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore, who published the relevant specs on his Twitter page, we learn that Vivo V23e inherits its 6.44” AMOLED screen from the last-gen Vivo V21e. It delivers a 1080P resolution, presumably at a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The notch, the sizable bottom bezel, and the in-display fingerprint scanner have also been carried over wholesale.

To no one’s surprise, the V23e rocks a slim, lightweight body. It weighs only 172g, and the frame is just 7.41mm thick, excluding the camera bump.

But the phone manufacturer is integrating a brand new 50MP front camera inside the notch of the upcoming member of the Vivo price list. Eye AF was a big selling point for the V21 series, and the V23e also takes a page out of that book. The front camera supports advanced autofocus.

We find a cluster of three lenses on the back. The design of this camera housing has been mildly refreshed into a more generic layout. It’s an array of 64MP f/1.79 wide, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP (presumably 4cm) macro cameras. Night mode works on both front and back cameras. Plus, you have a plethora of photography modes and filters at your disposal.

Everything runs on a 4050 mAh battery and 44W Flash Charging. This battery powers the MediaTek Helio G96 at the phone’s heart. Vivo V23e comes in a single 8GB+128GB storage edition. And it boots to the latest FunTouch OS 12, built on Android 11, straight out of the box.
