Every couple of years, Apple repurposes the old iPhones with new chipsets and sells them as affordable iPhone SE models. The last iPhone SE came out in 2020, and the Cupertino giant is preparing to release another.

According to the renowned industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple has the iPhone SE (2022) slated for debut on March 8. The iPhone has already been in mass production, and the company plans to ship over 25 million units just this year. It’ll be offered in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants.

The one big highlight of the iPhone SE (2022) is its powerful A15 chip. The modem inside runs 5G connections across sub-6 and mmWave networks. Mr. Kuo didn’t have any other notable upgrades to report since there were no other changes.

The iPhone's new price tag is still a mystery but it is quite evident that the SE (2022) is yet another repurposed iPhone 8. The five-year-old design features fat bezels, a physical home button with TouchID, and a solitary camera on the back. It comes in Product (RED), White, and Black.

The screen is a 4.7” LCD, the casing is crafted from glass, and the shell is IP67 rated against dust and water. The March 8 event will also bring us a new iPad Air, the next-gen M2 chip inside the new Macbook Air, and an M1 Mac Mini.
