Infinix Hot 40 Series Unveiled; Fast & Fun Devices with Android 13 and Premium Features

Infinix has officially unwrapped its much-anticipated Hot 40 Series, introducing three new affordable handsets – the Infinix Hot 40i, Infinix Hot 40, and Infinix Hot 40 Pro. With competitive specifications and low price tags, these smartphones are ready to make a statement. Let's take a closer look at each device in the lineup.


Infinix Hot 40:

Sharing similar features to the Pro variant, the Infinix Hot 40 boasts a 6.78-inch LCD FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, it offers 4/8GB LPDDR4 RAM, expandable with 8GB of virtual RAM. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB (eMMC) with a microSD card slot for additional storage.


The device features a 32MP front camera with dual-led flash and a Dual Camera Setup on the rear. The primary setup embodies two potent lenses of 50MP and 2MP resolutions with quad-LED flash. With a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging, the Infinix Hot 40 ensures a reliable and efficient user experience. 

The Side-embedded fingerprint sensor adds to the seamless unlocking experience, and it runs on Android 13 with XOS 13.5’s Magic Ring notifications. The standard Hot 40 has been unveiled in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, and Starfall Green colorways.

Infinix Hot 40 Pro:

The flagship mobile in the series, the Hot 40 Pro, boasts a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a high 90Hz refresh rate, providing an enriched visual experience. Backed by the dynamic MediaTek Helio G99 chip, it brings 4/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, expandable up to 8GB virtual RAM. 


Storage options include 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2, with additional support for expandable storage via a microSD card slot. The device features a 32MP front camera with a front dual flash in a pill-shaped notch. On the rear, a Triple Camera Setup comprising 108MP + 2MP macro + AI triple cam lineup. 

With a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging, the Hot 40 Pro embraces seamless unlocking via a Side-FS fingerprint sensor, and it runs on Android 13 with similar Magic Ring notifications. The Hot 40 Pro also flexes design in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, and Starfall Green colors.


Infinix Hot 40i:

Completing the lineup, the lowest-end Infinix Hot 40i features a 90Hz 6.58-inch, HD+ resolution of 720×1612 pixels and 480nit brightness. Powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC, it comes with 4/8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128/256GB UFS storage, expandable via a MicroSD card slot.

The device features a 32MP front camera and a 50MP single-rear shooter with Quad LED flash. With a 5,000mAh battery and 18W charging, the Infinix Hot 40i promises high endurance. It features a side fingerprint sensor for quick authentication and is available in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, or Starfall Green skins. Price-wise, Hot 40i and both the other siblings cost less than $200 US (~PKR 57,000).
