Huawei Plans to Make a Comeback in Pakistan with These Phones; Expected Prices & Details

Did you know Huawei is still doing well in China? We saw the company almost sink when it was devoid of Google services. They no longer have that old kind of spark in international markets. But things are looking up, it seems. They are making a comeback. And it's all starting with Pakistan.

Huawei exited, and there was this big gap in our market for almost four years. We saw innovation slow down here when it happened. That's why their reentry into Pakistan is most welcome. A credible source cited by a local publication confirms you are about to see three to five phones from Huawei.

Huawei Nova 12 SE

There's a Huawei Nova 12 SE stamp on the first phone. It most likely means it's midrange. This model has an OLED panel 90Hz at 6.67" 1080p resolution. That's plenty of hardware for a phone like Nova 12 SE.

EMUI 14 is its default OS that has no Google Play services. But that Snapdragon 680 will make sure its performance is snappy. 8GB + 256GB RAM ROM is also there for users. It will stock plenty of apps and files.

On the back of Nova 12SE is a 108 MP camera that gets EIS stabilization. A full 8 MP ultra-wide shooter is there to help it. Then, there's a 32 MP selfie grabber on the front. Expect this phone to cost between Rs 80,000 and 90,000.

Huawei Nova 12i

Nova 12i is a version that has trimmed specs. Instead of OLED, there is a 6.7" FHD 1080p IPS. You'll get to see a 90Hz refresh with that combo. But those cut-down specs don't affect performance that much.

Snapdragon 680 engine lives inside this phone also. EMUI 14 operates it with no Google support. It should be snappy with that 8GB RAM, 128GB storage combo. But it will bump to 256GB if you pay for that option.

108 MP camera is the same. But you won't find any Wide or Maco lenses there. It has only a 2 MP depth reader. Also, the snapper for selfies goes down to 8MP. Lower specs, so the expected price is also lower between Rs 60,000 and 70,000.

Huawei Y72

Huawei Y72 may be the lowest one in the bunch. This model's TFT display is only 720p resolution-wise. There's none of that fancy refresh rate. And oh yes! A 6.75-inch LCD size, drop-notched.

Y72 has an EMUI 12 in play, not the latest. But it might have Google services working. You are working with a Kirin 710A x 8GB RAM and no SD card slot. But 256GB storage is possible here, like all others.

This phone has one unit that's 50 MP. The other slot is for a 2 MP Maco that maybe some of you will find usable. That 8 MP selfie camera is low quality. But it will get the job done. Expect this one's price in between Rs 35,000 and 45,000.
