Honor isn’t quite done with the 600 series yet. Plenty of devices have launched from the same family, but we now have a new device with the title Honor 600S. It’s a 5G phone with very baseline specs and a huge battery that lasts two days on a charge. This is everything you should know about the Honor 600S.

There’s an absolutely basic display on its front side. It’s just a 720p TFT LCD. The size is 6.87” with huge bezels. The chin sticks out, but there’s a punch hole up front, so it looks relatively modern. It’s a 120Hz screen, by the way, with 1020 nits of brightness.

They’ve put a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 on the device, same as the Redmi Note 17, and that’s a 2.3GHz octacore platform. Honor flagship new mobile sticks 8Gig RAM onboard. Virtual faux memory toggle pushes it to 16GB. This setup shouldn’t have any problem running the phone’s default MagicOS 10 Android 16 software.

It’s not the screen or the performance that’s going to put Honor 600S on the map. They’ve shoved an 8100mAh battery on the device, which is a little bigger than the global Redmi Note 17. There’s 45W charging as well. And it would take 5 years before the battery health drops to 80%.

The phone has a special button on the frame that can summon an AI assistant. Or you can customize it to trigger all kinds of actions. It’s just like Apple’s action button. Anyway, you must be wondering what the phone’s camera is like. The answer is “average.”

They’ve put a bare-bones 50MP main camera on the device, and nothing else on the back. The selfie camera is just a 5MP unit. They are serviceable, sure. But far from the best. Only 1080p recording is supported. Honor 600S also has a toggle in the software to boost the audio by 400%.

There are two speakers (stereo audio). A side fingerprint reader and NFC are also installed on the Honor 600S. And let’s not forget that this newcomer is also IP68/IP69/IP69K waterproof. A drop height of 2.5m won’t send your phone to a repair shop. Base price for the Honor 600S is HK $1,999 (~PKR 70,000), but that’s only for the 6/128GB trim.
