Vivo V70 FE was launched in Pakistan today, and it’s a pricey device just under the original Vivo V70. You get two RAM variants in Pakistan: 8GB or 12GB. 256GB storage is standard on either of those versions. The device can be pre-ordered from April 28th. But here’s a quick overview of its specs before you do so.

Vivo V70 FE is a phone built around a 6.83” AMOLED unit. HDR10+ is supported on the screen. We know that the panel is a 10bit Q10+ unit from BOE. The resolution is your standard 1.5K, and the refresh rate goes up to 120Hz. The brightness will scale to 1900 nits in high brightness mode.

By the way, Vivo V70 FE has a feature that was lacking on the original V70, even though that was a pricier device. This new FE handset has a 200MP main camera with CIPA 4.0 stability certification. It’s actually a (1/1.56”) OIS sensor that can also do 30X AI digital zoom.

There’s also an 8MP ultrawide sensor here. It’s supposed to be a 120˚ (ultrawide) 1/4.0” type sensor. The other side has a 32MP selfie unit, since we are seeing its international variant in Pakistan. There’s also one with a 50MP selfie shooter, but that didn’t arrive here.

Of course, AI is shoved into every nook and cranny of its Origin OS 6 firmware, but AI Magic Landscape mode and AI Magic Weather were the highlights. This software is apparently run by a Dimensity 7360 Turbo chip inside the V70 FE. That’s a midrange platform.

The RAM here is 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and the storage is UFS 3.1 at 512GB. Vivo has used a 7,000 mAh battery on it, which is wired to a 90W charging kit. One charge will easily last you two full days, but with light usage. V70 FE’s dual speakers can output balanced stereo audio.

Vivo V70 FE is also fully water-resistant with an IP68 and IP69 rating. The fingerprint ID is on the screen. There’s only dual-band 5GHz WiFi here, so the system isn’t taking full advantage of the Dimensity 7360 SoC. Vivo V70 FE (8/256GB) sits at Rs 124,999 for the base model. The 12/256GB will bump the cost to Rs 139,999.

The pre-orders begin on April 28th. But you have to wait till May 5th for the official sales. Of course, the V70 FE is PTA authorized, so all local network carriers are supported. They add a one-year warranty for the unit and a 6-month warranty for the accessories. And Zong users can get 12GB of free data if they put the SIM in slot 1.
