Oppo just dropped a new entry-level in Pakistan, the Oppo A16k. The 'K' edition of the Oppo A16 rocks a sleek, lightweight design and basic essential features. We will briefly review the specs and pricing.

We’ll start with the aesthetics. Oppo A16k has a chamfered plastic casing, a glossy finish, a squarish camera bump, and two physical buttons. It's only 7.85mm thick and weighs just 175g.

And you can pick from Blue, Black, and White colors. Also, note that Oppo secured an IPX4 rating against water. And the phone is tested thousands of times to ensure durability.

Turn the Oppo's 4G new model over to find an unremarkable 6.52” screen. It’s a notched IPS LCD that delivers a low 720P resolution and contrast ratio. A built-in blue light filter protects your eyes.

No fingerprint security is offered (which makes the A16k feel out of place in 2022.) But the 5MP in the notch powers the 2D Face Unlock feature. The single 13MP rear camera can shoot in Night and AI Skin retouching modes. HDR and light filters make your shots pop.

Everything runs on the MediaTek Helio G35 chip. It’s an old-gen platform powered by a 4230 mAh battery. You get 3GB of memory and 32GB of eMMC storage. The storage is expandable, the USB interface is the outdated micro-USB, and the build includes a 3.5mm audio jack. ColorOS 11 x Android runs on this hardware out of the box. Oppo A16k starts from Rs. 23,999.
