Forget bigger batteries or AI tricks that have become a centerpiece of every smartphone release this year. Infinix is betting that sleeker designs will win in 2025. The unannounced Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ just surfaced in a leaked hands-on video from Ice Universe, and its design is already making waves, being one of the thinnest in the world.
GSMArena also stepped in with exclusive leaked photos that show the Hot 60 Pro+ going toe-to-toe with the Galaxy S25 Edge in terms of design. It’s nearly as thin as the Samsung phone, noticeably lighter, and it may be the only curved phone in the world to have this kind of thinness.
You can see in the IceCat’s leaked video that the Galaxy S25 Edge measures 163.8 grams on a scale. The Hot 60 Pro+ is only 154.6 grams, which should be noticeably lighter in comparison. To show exactly how thin these devices are, the video maker used calipers.
Galaxy S25 Edge is measured 5.7mm thin — no surprises there. By comparison, the Hot 60 Pro+ has a thickness of 5.9mm, which is just 0.2mm shy of the Edge’s true thickness. GSMArena’s leak should add more context to the phone’s design, while Infinix smartphone price updates continue to attract attention in the budget segment.
You can see the phone next to a stack of coins in one of those images. How about a deck of credit cards? If you are trying to picture how thin the Hot 60 Pro+ is in real life, these images put things into perspective. Also, the leaker placed this device on top of the Galaxy S25 Edge to make things more interesting.
The Hot 60 Pro+ looks relatively thinner in those images compared to the S25 Edge. That’s because the phone has a curved design and rounded edges with extremely thin rails on both sides. If you measure it from the top and bottom, this device is actually 0.2mm thicker than the Edge. Interestingly, the Hot 50 Pro Plus laid the groundwork for this sleek design language, making the latest Pro model feel like a refined evolution in the series.
Of course, with such a thin design, fans are worried about the phone’s battery capacity. The Galaxy S25 Edge had only a 3900mAh cell, which does not inspire confidence in the phone’s longevity. Sources close to the matter say that Hot 60 Pro+ should bring a 4500mAh cell, which is much better in comparison. We still have much to learn about Infinix’s latest design king, the Hot 60 Pro Plus. Stay tuned for further updates as more leaks continue to appear on the internet.
