Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ Earns Guinness Title for World’s Thinnest 3D Curved Display Smartphone

Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is one of the few devices in the world with a sub-6mm design. The phone launched about a month ago, claiming it’s the industry’s first curved screen phone to achieve 5.95mm thickness. And now, the company has secured a Guinness World Record to back up that claim.

The Hot 60 Pro+ was given the “World’s thinnest 3D curved display smartphone” award by Guinness at the Borobudur Temple in Indonesia. The ceremony took place at the exact time when the phone arrived in the local market, hitting two targets with one arrow.

The newcomer took a tour through an ILAC-accredited laboratory to validate the Guinness World Record. It was measured not by callipers, but by meticulous laser calculations at 10 individual locations. The results: Hot 60 Pro+ was rated 5.95mm at its thinnest point and 6.09mm at its thickest point (likely on the camera bump).

It’s not just the thickness factor that impressed the fans; it’s also the ultra-lightweight 155g build that supports a 5160mAh battery. In contrast to the Infinix Hot new model, the Galaxy S25 Edge is 5.8mm thin, 163.8 grams in weight, and holds only a 3900mAh battery.

Samsung chose to develop the slim phone in the flagship category. Infinix went the other direction and made a thin budget phone accessible to all. The Hot 60 Pro+ has a 6.78” AMOLED with 1.5K resolution. The display is not too shabby for an entry-level device.

That front panel also clocks at a 144Hz refresh rate with a balanced 1600nits HBM. It boots to an Android 15 system from the get-go. The company has three years of updates planned for the device. An IP65 rating isn’t the best, but it should keep the handset safe from dirt and water splashes.

That 5160mAh battery we mentioned earlier can be refilled with a 45W fast charge adapter. A Helio G200 chip handles the processing with up to 8GB RAM. The phone’s rear camera is 50MP, and the selfie shooter is 13MP. It globally costs around $190 or ~PKR 53,500. Also, compared to the Infinix Hot 50+, this device features an enhanced faster processor and a richer display experience.
