Infinix GT 30 Pro’s replacement might debut soon. They plan to skip the GT 40 moniker, by the way. So the next device will hail the title “Infinix GT 50 Pro.” This newcomer was tested on Geekbench last month, and we’ve just found the rest of its specs and design in today’s leak.
The carbon fiber weave pattern was only etched on the edges of the Infinix GT 30 Pro last year, but now the entire back panel has the style. There’s not a lot going on in GT 50 Pro’s upper section. But the lower section has a really aggressive green LED pattern, which is Infinix’s signature color.
These renders were spilled by PassionateGeekz, over on their website. They actually added an exclusive report to share the GT 50 Pro’s specs that were previously unknown. Apparently, the screen on this handset is 6.78” 144Hz. That’s an AMOLED panel, of course.
It will stick to the standard 1.5K resolution that we previously saw. And there’s going to be a Dimensity 8400 SoC within to run everything. That’s a 3.25GHz near-flagship platform, and it’s perfect for midrange gaming phones. The Infinix new GT model is also supposed to have 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.
Cameras are obviously not the main attraction on the GT 50 Pro. But there are still two sensors on the back. A 50MP (OIS) shooter is here for primary use, and a second 8MP ultrawide shooter assists. Then comes the 13MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
This is a gaming phone after all, so there’s no compromise on the power backup. It seems the GT 50 Pro is built around a 6,500 mAh power pack. In some regions, its battery size could shrink to 6,150 mAh. Both are above-average capacities and are meant to last more than a day.
GT 50 Pro has plenty of charging features, the same as the Note 60 series. This newcomer will recharge at 45W via a wired adapter, and wirelessly refill at 30W. Wired reverse charging is 10W, and wireless reverse input is capped at 5W for accessories. Some specs are still a mystery. Keep watching the news for updates.
