Honor X5c Plus will debut soon. The company has yet to verify the details, but we can confirm it’s part of a bigger series. This newcomer has been leaked as a 4G entry-level phone with a minimal design and a Helio G81 SoC. We found all of its specs, color options, and price in an exclusive report by Xpertpick. Here’s the full breakdown.
Black, Cyan, and Silver colors are spotted in the leaked renders. The phone will appear in one of the European markets soon with a solo 4/128GB storage trim. The design is nothing to write home about, as it features a glossy accent around the lenses and a matte texture on the rear panel — something we’ve seen on entry-level devices before.
The display is equally underwhelming. For what the phone costs (allegedly), a notched panel is a poor choice even for an entry-tier device. But we digress. The Honor X5c Plus uses a 6.74” IPS LCD on the front with a 90Hz refresh rate and an HD+ 720 resolution; these specs are common in the segment.
There’s a Helio G81 chip on the core of Honor latest budget mobile. If you are not familiar, it is a 2.0GHz octacore platform that integrates a Mali G52 GPU inside it. This is an older and cheaper silicon, but reliable enough for light workloads and multitasking.
Don’t expect the experience to be smooth 100 percent of the time, as Honor X5c+’s 4GB RAM could cripple the chip’s performance, leading to a few lags and stutters in the OS. By the way, the newcomer uses Android 15 x Magic OS 9.0 UI with all the GMS services and security tools.
For the camera you see on the back, you get a 50MP main shooter and a 2MP depth mapper right below it. The selfie shooter is a paltry 5MP sensor under a notch. The phone can be locked away with a fingerprint ID that sits on top of the power key.
Honor X5c Plus’ battery is above average. Its rated capacity is 5620 mAh. The charging speed, however, is a bit sluggish. It only supports 10W input. The newcomer has been reported to cost €120 (~PKR 39,000) for the 4/128GB storage trim. These are all leaked details, so take them with a grain of salt until the company verifies them. Keep watching the news for updates.
