Just as we suspected, the Chinese phone maker has dropped the Honor X5c Plus in Pakistan, and it’s starting sales nationwide today as a 4/128GB variant. This is a sub-entry-level phone, by the way, so it’s targeting buyers on a tight budget. Here’s everything you need to know about the Honor X5c Plus.
This device has a TFT screen, acceptable for the price range. The panel size is 6.74 inches, which is decent, but the resolution is just your average HD+ 720p with 260ppi sharpness. At least it has a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone can deliver fluid animation and visuals.
The X5c Plus is only a few weeks old, so they threw in a still-relevant Android 15 operating system with Magic OS 9 on top. And just a heads-up for folks thinking of buying this phone, the software will probably lag on occasion since it uses an old Helio G81 SoC.
This Honor new budget mobile only brings up to 4GB of physical RAM, so expect limited multitasking here. 4GB additional virtual RAM should help, and it’s active by default on this device. The variant they released in Pakistan can store 128GB of data, and there’s an SD card slot available too, in case you need more space.
There’s also some camera disparity between the basic X5c and X5c Plus models. The variant that lands in our market has a 50MP main shooter. That’s paired with a 5MP selfie shooter on the front concealed in a waterdrop notch on the display.
The X5c Plus relies on a (Li-Po) type battery, which is usually a sign of a bulkier and heavier device. But Honor managed to keep this phone’s thickness under 7.9mm. It’s not a thin phone, but not cumbersome either. The Honor X5c Plus has a decent-enough 5260mAh power pack with 15W charging.
Honor is putting the phone in our market with Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan colors. The X5c Plus also has a fingerprint ID placed on the side. There’s a Dual-Band WiFi 5 setup here. Bluetooth version is v5.1, and we also have an Audio jack at the bottom. The newcomer’s price in Pakistan for the 4/128GB variant is only Rs 24,999.
